To Accumulate a Rate — Integrate!

Polyhedra Abound

So, I got a little obsessed with making polyhedra lately. I decided to build the Platonic solids, and even had my little kids at home build some. Then I thought I would build the Archimedean solids too… Which took some time. I then started working on the stellated ones. There are two more in that category that are called Great something or other. Now that I made them I want to make some sort of mobile and hang them in my classroom. The next stage would be figuring out how I can integrate them into a lesson. Seeing how nets work would be an easy place. I need to do some research on the solids and their uses.

Most of the models that I’ve built have been from nets found at this site:

Search George Hart Playing Card Polyhedra and the instructions for these card pics will come up.
